Sea Sun Pinot Noir is Charlie Wagner's love letter to the California coast, sourced from premier coastal appellations stretching several hundred miles from Suisun Valley near Napa all the way down to Santa Barbara County. Each region contributes something distinct: Monterey County delivers lush, fully ripened fruit; Solano County lends richness and depth; San Luis Obispo County adds roundness on the palate. Together, they produce a Pinot Noir that is both approachable and layered.
Cooling Pacific breezes and long growing seasons allow the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving freshness while building expressive aromatics and silky texture. Individual vineyard lots are fermented separately, then blended and lightly aged in a combination of new and neutral French oak, adding warmth and structure without masking the wine's vibrant fruit character.
